Transparency
Callers must be told they are speaking with an AI voice agent and that the call may be recorded. Clients are responsible for configuring this disclosure in their agents and for having a lawful basis / consent to call.
EU AI Act
Transparency obligations for AI systems that interact with people apply from August 2026. Disclosing the AI nature of the call is therefore a requirement, not optional.
Recording disclosure
Calls handled by the platform are recorded to provide transcripts and the client's business records. The client must include the required recording notice in each agent's greeting and script, and may only run calls where the consent / notice requirements of the relevant jurisdiction are met.
Client responsibility
As the data controller, the client must ensure disclosures and consents are appropriate for the people they contact and the countries involved. Seek legal advice for your specific call flows.
