Data Retention & Deletion

Retention periods
- Call recordings, transcripts and events: the client's configured retention (default 365 days), then automatically purged.
- Leads / contacts: kept until deleted by the client or erased on request.
- Account & audit logs: for the life of the account and applicable legal minimums.
Deletion & erasure
- Clients can erase an individual contact's data (lead, calls, events) on request from the product.
- Clients can export their data (portability) from Settings → Data & privacy.
- On account termination, data is deleted or returned per the DPA.
Note on the voice provider
Recordings on the voice provider (Vapi) are retained per their policy; deletion there is requested via the provider. Provider-side deletion is added as it becomes available.
